Following up on my post Behind the Mic with Jay Worth, here’s a fun fact: Jay introduced me to Angelique Robb, founder of SYNKD, which led to a speaking engagement at the SYNKDlive conference in Atlanta, this podcast event, and much more.

My interview with Angelique felt different — more like a deep dive into the larger system of the Green Industry, which connects outdoor living design, build, and maintenance. She has a rare ability to bridge worlds that often don’t communicate enough — the practical and the creative, the business side and the ecological side.
She asked questions that made me think about alignment: between contractors and clients, and between innovation and implementation. She reminded me that storytelling is also a kind of root system, connecting ideas, industries, and people worldwide.
Talking with Angelique helped me see how our work fits into the broader ecosystem of the Green Industry — not just as a standalone technology, but as part of a living, growing network of people committed to building sustainable landscapes. They care!
Every time I discuss TreesROI™, I rediscover our initial purpose — and realize how much more there is to learn. These conversations serve as a reminder that our work isn’t just research; it’s part of a dynamic, growing community. They’re not merely interviews; they’re milestones — showing how far we’ve come, what we’ve learned, and why we continue to push forward.
In our next chapter, I’ll share how that community continues to grow — through our feature in SYNKD Magazine and the recognition that followed.
Angelique, thank you for ROOTING for us!
